Roosevelt Recreation Center and Cambridge SportsPlex
36,000 SF single-story, new pre-engineered steel building addition adjacent to the existing Roosevelt Recreation Center. The new addition houses an indoor 3-lane track, 3 full-size basketball courts, fitness areas, exercise floor, storage, batting cages, restrooms, storage and shower facilities./All the earth work and excavation was completed in house. Sections of the old center’s foundations were demolished to make way for new slab on grade concrete. FF and FL are always important, however both floor flatness and levelness were very critical in the trowel finished gym and track floors.
